Frontier and it’s joint venture partner National Real Estate Development has been selected by the City of Philadelphia to develop a large-scale 850,000 square foot mixed-use project on Ben Franklin Parkway. The project will entail the adaptive reuse of the 250,000 sf historic Family Court building at 1801 Vine Street to a 215-key lifestyle hotel with multiple F&B outlets and event space; At 1901 Wood Street, the project will entail a 600 unit high rise mixed-use apartment building inclusive of affordable units, associated retail, while Frontier will also develop the new state-of-the art African American Museum of Philadelphia, as well as the expansion of the Philadelphia Library’s Children and Family center.
